Grand Marquis, also Lincoln back in 90's, pump was on the front face of tank. Did one for a friend in 04. Hardest part was getting the lines off, 4 trips to town for the right size tool. Car was resting on the wheels,so had to jack up body/frame about 2 inches to get pump assembly over top of rear axle. Pump by itself was 65 bucks, about size of a beer can. Gas level was low, so didn't have to drain. Install, prime pump & start it up took about 20 minutes.
