My Dad couldn't even turn a welder on,,he never lit up a torch or welded in his life. All that I have learned was mostly self taught along with watching a few guys in Fab shops and the basics in Vo-Ag class. I had thoughts of being a welder when I was in high school,,I fab things in my shop and do some welding jobs for others,in the picture I am re-rimming an old 1937 "B" for a friend of mine, I made a round stock to fit the hub nice, welded it exactly straight on the table and measured the rim to be centered then cut and fit the spokes in place, turned out good. I have a Thermo-Dynamic Plasma cutter that will cut 1" stuff and a nice Miller wire welder and a couple different torches with guides for cutting shapes and circles. I get into some tricky projects and enjoy doing it..

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
