When I started working at the horse farm in 1989, I never thought I'd still be there, or bringing a little girl down there with me. Life can be such a strange journey, good and bad. My little girl likes to help me, here she is breaking the ice in the pails this pm, I forgot to put them in the office this am. I'm so glad she has an interest in farming, the horses, chickens, cows and the garden, ect, she has been going to the farm with me since she was 3 months old, and she goes with me 90% of what little time she's with me. When she was 3 months old I put her on the desk in the heated office in the barn, in her car seat/ cradle carrier what ever it was called, it seems like yesterday. I'm lucky to still have 2 horse left since I started. My mare just turned 32 this pic was from about 2-3 years ago.
