You and me need to back up a little here. I said there aren't any I didnt say I was going to build a death trap. There is an electrical code here. Just because I dont have to follow it doesn't mean I wont. My point was simply that there are no leagle restrictions on what I want to do. $144/month seems like a lot if you're talking 12 months / year. It only takes $1000/year to heat the 60 x60 with a 16' ceiling I work in. Its the family buisness so I am well acquainted with the financials. Me and my dad bought it took it down and put it back up in its present location. It has 4layers of r19 in the attic r19 in the walls UV reflective bubble wrap looking stuff inside that then aluminum roofing metal. Before I had a wood stove my house with all new insulation and windows cost more to heat than this building. My house is 1100 square feet.
