No there where exceptions , but for the most part they did . Old Fords , Mopar and I H i know quiet a bit about them . I have been teaching the guys at my O Riles a lot of the old stuff and what you can use inplace when the part for that piece is not listed anymore. Did two Holley carbs for two guys and there I H S model trucks with the 404 gas , They looked everywhere for a carb kit not finding one for the listing . Well that same carb was used on 383-400 2 bbl. engines on Mo Pars , yep they still list a kit for them and it will work and work just fine. as for the FL1 fliter you can also use that filter on some Mo Pars also . yep it fits,
