I have macular degeneration also. Im 60 now, had it since i was 53 pr 54. I took vitamins with the arreds formula. My eye doctor sent me to a specialist in Omaha. Had the dry kind, kept monitoring it for a few years. It got better so i stopped going to the specialist. I use a flashlight also.just because everytning seems a little dark. DR says that is from the lenses are yellowing from age. Not uncommon. I have also worn glasses for 10 or so years. But here is what i did. I took a sip of flaxseed oil a day for about 4 months, not for my eyes but for blood pressure and megga 3 reasons. I noticed that im looking over my glasses to see. I think either my glasses are getting scratched up or my eyes are getting better. Long story short i had to get my eye checkup and my eye Dr. confirmed that i can go to no power on the top which was a 2 power, and drop 1 power on the bottom. I am not saying that the flax seed oil did this, but make your own case. My eye dr is a vitamin guy and he says what ever your doing is working. He said eyes just dont usually get better. Thats my testimony.
