When I had it on the bench I put my charger on it and it turned over but it was not spinning as fast as I am used to seeing. When I left the leads on for maybe 10 seconds, I could feel the leads getting warm. When I put it back on the tractor, it doesn't spin at all, no humming, no clicking nothing. We just put a new batter on it this fall. It shows about 12.5 volts setting. I also show 12.5 volts on the starter lug. I have my tester on the starter lug when we tried to turn it over and it still showed 12.5 volts. The starter switch has the simple lever operated brass contact switch. I cleaned up the lugs on it also. Is there a way to test the fields? Thanks again for your help.
