Well I am half neat freak and half pack rat. LOL So it is a constant battle between the two. I will get things piled up and then do a complete house cleaning. Now my tools are put away at the end of each day period. Even if I am going to be back on the same job the next morning I still put them all away. I absolutely hate hunting for a tool. My Grand Father left tools were ever he used them last. Which worked when he was alone. It was not so much fun when I tried to work on anything. I do mean where ever he used them last too. That might be outside along the manure pile too. He was always losing tools and having to clean up rusted and ruined ones too. It amazed me how he was with tools because in the milk parlor you could eat off the floor and he was so tight on spending money but would waste money with ruined/lost tools. We still turn up tools when we are digging around the home farm.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
