Easy to fix but not that easy. Take off the door panel and you need the stamp code number off of the cylinder. You might as well buy a new cylinder at NAPA or such and have it "keyed" to your ignition key by a lock smith. Not that costly but the quickest. Then you change out the cylinder. I had to do that with my dads 1946 chevy truck. The only door that has a lock is the passenger door. You lock the drivers door with a little bat wing knob. Then you slide across the seat and get out on the sidewalk side. Lastly you put in the key and UNlock the door handle. If you now try to open the door the handle just clicks around in a circle. You need to put the key in the little lock on the handle is RElock it. Now the handle works again and you can open the door. Neat
