Well, you sure got your ears full anyway didn't you? Remember that point gap and timing are hand in hand things. The most common procedure is set the points first, then the timing, because the points gap and opening has a direct effect on the timing. We always "played" with the timing a bit after the point setting if we were really after the most horses. We didn't mess with the points once we knew they were correctly set. Have a good day sir.
