I have just purchased a 1951 Ford 8N and am replacing oil seals, brakes etc. The problem I have is that the hole for the link pin (that attaches to the lower lever of the lift) has been rounded out (ovaled to be exact) because of a loose link pin. Is there an easy way to resolve this problem. If I put the link pin back in the hole will become even more out of round and more oil will leak out. I fear that with a load on the lower lift arm, the Axel houseing might even break. One estimate to have a machine shop repair it would be close to $200. The hole is tapered to accomodate the link pin. How much does a new axel housing run?? IS there an epoxy filler that would work? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
