If ypu go to the EAA's Airventure (convention & fly in) you'll find an event that will draw 500,000 people or more without trashing the grounds. I heard a rumor that some of the other events that used their venue were discouraged from coming back because they trashed the grounds. I have also heard that during the 9 day Airventure with 500,000 people the local sheriff's department responds to fewer incidents than they do at some of the 3 day concerts with less than 100,00 people. My brother went to the NRA convention a few years back when it was in Indianapolis and noticed that there wasn't as much trash and the restrooms weren't getting messed up. Some of it may be the people at the events.
