And how much do you want to know about a 10-10 Mac? Have a couple in my collection and have a pile of 605-610 and 650 Macs. First thing is take the chain cover side off and see what is going on with the clutch. You need to remove the nut with an air gun. Sitting here trying to remember if it is lefthand thread. Think so. The clutch should have a little needle bearing within a plastic cage in there. Grease it up good. If you chewed it all up you need a new one. Any good saw shop should have them for five or six bucks. You might as well change the clutch and drive gear if needed too. Now for parts. Bobs saw shop in Maryland ,NY. 607-638-9297 He is a VERY VERY knowledgeable man on saws. He can hack a lot but when you talk to him try not to sound too dumb. I have gotten a lot of parts from him and he is very good on the prices. Do yourself a favor and go on flebay and buy a copy of the owners manual if you do not have it. There are SEVERAL styles of the 10-10 saw so make sure you get the right one. Look at the ID plate on your saw for all of the information. You will need it when you call Bob!

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
