We build and remanufacture farm equipment and have learned the hard way to always use the same brand of paint and thinner together. We've even had problems using one brand of paint for the base coat and another brand for the top coat. The second coat took the first right off like paint stripper. JD and Case paints are especially bad about this.
: What experiences are out there with the proper thinning for spraying John Deere paint. Is there an alternative to using JD thinner ($) or will something else work just as well? Thanks!
