Hi Jocco I find your post real interesting, how can a guy buy a tractor and not figure out it was way past a service until it went bang. surely you must of checked the oils/ filters and such when you got it. if that oil was that bad in the motor it would of been obvious when a guy checked fluid levels and things. First thing many of us do is a full service on a new to us machine, or after seeing some dealer serviced used units not done right, I will double check them and verify it was actually done properly to, and they didn't cut corners to save a few $ when they sell them off the lot. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
