Your engine is flooding and there could be a number of reasons. Some of these reasons will be worsened by the cold. Is it cold where you are? Did it run when it was warmer? You may need to rebuild the carb. You may have a vacuum leak or poor compression. You may have an ignition problem. If it has not had work done on it in a while, clean and rebuild the carb. Do a tune-up. Replace the plugs and check the plug wires. Check compression if you still have an issue. Check the air filter and the oil. Is this machine new to you? Have you been trying to fix it? Any chance it got out of time or the wires got switched around? There are guys here who can figure out your problem in a heartbeat. The more information you give them, the better.
