I am wondering if anyone has ideas on why my 4630 shifts so hard. This tractor is about 7000 hours, I have had it for the past 1500 of them. Inpurchased it without much history. It had a rebuilt engine and came out of a dealers inventory. In the first few hours (I mean less than 10) it had several hydraulic leaks that we concluded were from transmission overheating. The fluid was crystal clear and hard to read level on stick. After close examination realized it was way over filled from the dealer. Pumped out six gallon of fluid and overheating issue was gone. But I am still left with a tractor that Is so hard to move the A/D or between the 1/2 to 3/4 or reverse. There is never any gear clashing just have to really force the levers. I have never had an issue on the 4430 or 4230. Ideas
