Funny, but true. After I had the left one done in 1998 I had no problems what so ever and was back at work in less than the prescribed 90 days. The right one was done in 2006, but not the same doctor and it was a disaster. I wound up with a Staph infection that cost me 28 days more in the hospital. It rocked along poorly until it finally came loose on both ends and had to be done over again in 2010. I asked the doctor why this repair was not done under warranty as I considered it a major repair job. He did not appreciate that. I told him if I did a job of that magnitude I had to warranty it and I thought medical procedures should be warranted also. It is okay now, but not as good as the first one and I just live with it. At 76, I don't plan to have any more.
