I got the microprocessor to open the throttle body tonight, so a good success.
The throttle body is closed at 20% PWM, and fully open at 45%, I would rather that be 20% to 80% so I get better resolution. The PWM frequency is 1 kHz, the typical throttle body frequency is about 500 Hz, so I will try slowing that down and see if I can use more of the range of the output. It is a lot more difficult for me to solder small components than when I was in my 20s, think I will have to get one of those lighted magnifiers.
The throttle body has a built in TPS, I will have to get those wired in so it is in closed loop control.
