Friend of mine just got his Jetstar 3 m m running after setting some 4 yrs , he says the hydraulics worked fine when it quit . but not now . I think the hydraulic pump has a poppit valve or sumthin stuk,,no hydraulics., and the steering is all over the place,. it is guidable in low gear in order to move ,, but really bad ,,. it seems that the rear pump provides life to everything ,,. steering , remotes and 3 pt, there are 2 levers under the seat that have no resistance,,. I assume one is a shut off and the other mite be draft control , does anyone have any pointers they could share with us , we sure could use a book on this tractor for sure , if weknew what it was . the tag is nearly impossible to read,.. it has a decal that says 4 star super, but it looks, like a jet star 3 . the Moline guys are a bit scarce on advice,.

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
