I have to disagree. I know some guys in their mid to late 30's with teen aged kids where the dad is into old tractors and the kids have no interest. Go talk to the kids. Most will tell you that tractor shows are boring, especially after the gates close in the evening and dad is camping on site. Now these same kids who hate the shows don't mind helping dad work on a tractor. They just don't like wasting a weekend. That IMO is a large part of why it's dying. When that old guy get planted and the kids sell off the tractors the young people have already been driven from the hobby from boredom.
