good 40 yr old tractors that are proven, tried and true are a steal these days in my area ...about the only tractor that has not gotten soft is a 4020 in excellent condition , ruf , they can be a bargain , if?,,.. there are not a lot of issues that muther deer will eat your wallot with your az still in it ... .in recent yrs , I have been able to find field ready 430-5-and 630 CASE diesels ,,.because they were not excellent condition and had battle scars that were healable,,. I was pleased with what I got them for,,. trouble is ,,. I like you , JD, traded off 2 tractors and ended up with 3 ,,. my wife says it is an addiction , I call it smart business, especially when you consider what the bank pays on cd's and what I can polish and doll my old gasser Case tractors up in a wedding dress to fetch a nice price,.and therefore make some real money ..
