I had a 61. Great saw, but after 40 years it was tired. I bought a 345 and didn't like the oiling. I noticed the length of the oil capillary is pressed into the tin chain guard at the sprocket and is expected the travel further than the oiler did on the 61. I drilled a 1/4" hole in the bar close to the oiler so it didn't have to push the oil as far and fight the saw dust build up. I've been running it this way for 5 years and noticed better results. I don't know if the 455 if similar.
