Hi, my brother has a 1997 one for about 10 years now with a 2250 Quick Attach loader on it. He really likes it. Starts well in cold weather and is easier on fuel than his 684. It has a switch on the left side of dash for HI/LO(T/A) range shift on the go. Should not have a parking brake issue as it has a flashing warning light on the dash to indicate parking brake is engaged. His also has the 17 GPM hydraulic pump so the loader is much faster than when the loader was on his 495. The only down fall is has Lucas starter and alternator. The alternator failed and he replaced it with a Delco. The starter solenoid has failed a couple times but he is lucky as there is a good starter/alternator shop in the area that can get parts for Lucas starters. If you are in the USA then probably it has Delco electrical parts.

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
