My friend insures his autos and property through them and usually has good things to say. One word of caution, if you have any dilapidated buildings on your property, they may force you to tear them down. My friend had a large old hog barn in which the roof in once section partially collapsed from a heavy snow load. USAA considered it a hazard and gave him a short time period in which it had to be torn down and removed. We did it all by hand and one John Deere B. That was a lot of work!
I personally have American Family. Every time I renew I look around for quotes and no one, including independent brokers, has been able to beat them. I realize that depends on property, state, etc...
