Thing is it isn't just the Girl or Boy Scouts. It's everything. And the courts made the rulings based on the Constitution and the Amendments. There is nothing in there that says anything about gay or transgendered people. It does say that everyone has the same rights and protections. Now I'm not supporting one side or the other here. Just stating facts. The court rulings are not about being politically correct. It's about that Constitution and the Amendments. Would they read different had our founding fathers seen what was coming? At the time most likely. Can they change it? At this point in time I doubt it. I don't have to like it but it's the law of the land so I have to abide by it just like the rest of you. I wouldn't want my grand daughters showering with a boy either even if he was totally uninterested in them. But I wouldn't want my grand sons showering with him either. If I push my representatives to do something I rather expect it would be a waste of time and tax dollars at this point.
The girls selling these cookies just want to money to go to camp. Most are too young to worry about the gay/transgendered thing.
