Given the slight HP advantage of the Ford and the fact that you are looking at a bigger (more powerful) tractor I'd side on keeping the higher HP one. While this can be debated for years I know several people who own VAC's but know of none that are used a working tractors. They are all trailer queens used for shows, parades and tractor drives. I know a lot of people who are working their Ford N series tractors on small farming operations or for property maintenance. That's not saying no uses a VAC for real work. I just don't know anyone who is using one for work. And for those who will tell you that you can find implements for the Eagle hitch when you do I hope you have deep pockets. Those fall into the same category as the AC Snap Coupler and IH/Farmall Fast Hitch systems. Not many around and they bring really high prices. An N can, without modifications share implements with a 2000 Ford. And Cat 1 implements are available both new and used.
