Frank, Hi from southern MN. It's nice to "meet" you. Hope you have a great spring!
YT is a great site! I check in before work and after work, sometimes over lunch hour and usually at the end of the day. Uhm, my name is SweetFeet and I'm a YT addict. LOL :)
My husband and I particularly like RUST... so in hopes that it may help you out with photo posting - below are the steps I use to post photos.
INSTRUCTIONS TO UPLOAD PHOTO WHEN IN CLASSIC VIEW:
Type your post (or reply) text.
Then under Advanced Posting Tools… Click on Upload Photo. (NOT the area where it says Upload Photos/Videos - I'm not sure if that area is working right now.)
Now click on Choose File button… this takes you to your My Pictures files in your computer.
Now double-click the photo folder you want open.
Then click on the photo you want to upload (to select/highlight it).
Next, click on Open button (at the bottom of that window), this will take you back to the upload area.
Click on Upload button (then, give it time to upload – it can take some time depending on your internet speed AND the size of your photo-file.
After your photo uploads... you will see a small “thumbnail” of your photo… in the upload area.
BE SURE to click on the Continue button.
At this point you can select another photo/upload/continue to keep uploading more photos OR if only posting 1 photo…
Click Preview Your Post/Preview Your Reply button… and if the upload worked - your photo should show in that Preview window.
If all looks good – then click on the Submit button (located below that Preview window).
Then the screen will show you: “Message Added” showing the subject line you had typed. And it says “Thank You for participating in the YT community”.
Upload one or more videos to your post. Photo filesizes should be less than 300K and Videos, less than 2MB. Formats allowed are gif, jpg, png, ogg, mp4, mov, and avi. Be sure to use filenames without spaces or special characters, and filetypes of 3 digits lower case.
