: I once saw a message about a product to seal the inside of a tractor fuel tank. Unfortunately I didn't write it down. If anyone knows about this product and where to get it I would be grateful Thanks Greg Greg: I have had the best luck cleaning and sealing old gas tanks on tractors and a couple of 1930s autos (Ford As) by using a two part chemical cleaner and sealer that I get from local motorcycle shops. It does the job well and as of 2 years ago, a JD. tank that I cleaned and sealed cost me under 30.00. One, suggestion. As you clean the old tank up, don't pass up the opportunity to test is for leaks...sure easier to fix be for it is remounted, painted, and dripping down the side of your newly restored project. With best regards.
