Thanks to all those who replied to my post last week. Went down to the basement and the breaker had not tripped at all so hit the reset button and soon had hot water again and has been working normally now for a week. Not sure what that means, but probably need to do elements/thermostats someday. I appreciate the temporary reprieve.
