Never hurts to ask them to price match. Recently I went into a Lowes looking to buy an item, and thought the item was high compared to Menards, so I looked it up on my phone, and Menards had the same item for approx. $10 less ($20 vs. $30 roughly). I took the item to the checkout, and showed them the price on the phone, and they matched it saving me a trip to Menards. I spent quite a bit of time cross referencing a filter for my zero turn mower with Kawasaki engine, and found that it can use the same filter as my 98 Toyota Camry which I buy at Wal Mart for about $3, so I keep a few of those around, and the Kawasaki engine gets a Purolator $3 filter as well vs. paying for a name brand for $10 or more. I do like Wix filters, and would not put a Fram on my worst enemy's vehicle due to an issue I had years ago.
