No, we've driven through Glenwood Springs over the years but never stopped long enough to soak in the springs, even took the train there from Chicago on one ski trip. Skiing IS expensive these days. Used to be able to fly me, wife and 3 kids for about $5k for a week out west. Now, it was about that for just wife and I. We rent our skis now. Costs too much in baggage fees to lug them. We used to have about a dozen bags. Nowadays, that's $600 in baggage fees. Steamboat is on my bucket list. We've been around North America skiing, haven't hit ALL the spots, but Aspen/Snowmass is our favorite. Been going there off and on since the 70's. Been going to Ajax (Aspen) less and less. It's a lot smaller AND congested AND steeper. They had a good part of the mountain shut down this week for some big-time televised races (NorAm?) Wife and I are intermediate skiiers. She won't do Blacks and I'll occasionally take one. I can get into plenty of trouble on a Blue hill full of moguls out there. There were NO lift lines, it was up and down every day, 6-7 hrs per day on the boards, I got my money's worth but I was pretty tired. Wife would quit about 1:30 and I'd blast off by myself. After 2:00 PM, I was pretty much the only person on many of the runs. I stayed in the middle away from the trees so if I fell, the ski patrol would find me in their end-of-day sweep of the mountain. I know what you mean about Front Range skiing. That drive out of/into Denver on the weekends is crazy. Throw in bad weather and it gets even worse.

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power.
