My Dad was a big skier, I'm told I was on skis at 18 months old. All of us skied in my home town, every single weekend there was snow. It was about all we had in winter. I taught skiing, was a Ski Patrolman as both volunteer and professional. Even taught my wife to ski. Last time I skied was in 1983 IIRC. It's a rich mans sport now. Last time I bought a ticket it was something like $25.00 a day. A season pass used to be $25.00! Impossible for me to even try now.
