Stewart Farms from Yorkville, IL run all Cat. They ran a 760 Lexion with a 16 row head at their home place and did a video, Lexion 10 hour challenge. In 10 hours time they cut 51K bushels. They usually run two 16 row machines down here unless they get behind and then they get Birkeys out of Gibson City to help. They don't farm as much as they did in the past. They were over 10K and went down to Auburn to Hennepin to Yorkville. They have much better equipment than Walkers had when they farmed(mined) it for two years for Stewart when they first bought it(4300 acres). A few years back they enlarged their grain setup at the home place. The elevator was shutting down at noon here. My buddy that hauls some for them, took several loads from Farmer City to Yorkville to test their new system out. They are nicer that some of the BTOs in the area. Rosentreter(IL Family Farms) farmed(?) about half a mile away for a short time. One of Stewart's sons(Spirt Farms) took the rest of the crops out when Rosestreter went belly up. Live by the sword and die by the sword. This time might be chapter two.
