Getting ready for spring farm work. Getting oils changed and such. Brought the 1486 up and took the duals off, going to put axle shaft bearings in it, has an inner bearing shelled. Going to put new brakes on it while I'm in there. There is a 5088 hiding around the corner with the chisel plow hooked up, I need to repair a tire on the chisel plow that decided to start slowly going flat. Luckily with the wonderful fall we had last year, I got more than 75% of the fields chisel plowed before winter. I used the 674 to pull up the stone picker so I can check the wheel bearings and grease it. A buddy of mine has much lighter sand ground and is going to borrow it since he will be able to get in his fields much sooner than we will. The 674 doesn't have enough tire to match the horsepower to actually pull the stone picker and pick rocks, it spins too much when it gets full. I usually run it with the 826. Sorry about the picture quality, it was pretty dark outside, I had to lighten the picture a bit.

Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
