A new drop deck for that money I would want to see. The big thing is the spacing on the cross members. They want to be not more than 12 inches. If they are wider they will break the floor boards faster as they start to rot. Will also break fast with heavy things like forklifts as they have a high concentration of weight on the wheels. If it is a spread it will crry more weight than a tandem. The spread will use tires faster if you try turning real tight turns loaded. I've had a Transcraft for almost 20 years now. Had to change the cross members in it about 5 years ago and the side rails on one side so far. It is a heavy trailer at about 12,000 empty with a dry floor (no rain) Been a good trailer too.
