There are a couple different configurations possible.
We know the top lug is for the battery cable, and any other smaller wires that have a large eye terminal that will fit over the lug.
Then there are the 2 spade terminals...
There are 2 possibilities. You'll need an ohm meter to determine what does what.
First, ground one lead of the ohm meter. Touch the other lead to one of the spade terminals. If you get a reading, that is the terminal to use to actuate the solenoid.
If the reading is open, try the other terminal. If that one reads to ground, use it.
If neither read to ground, try reading across the 2 spade terminals. If you get a reading, connect the actuator wire to one terminal, make a jumper and ground the other.
If you don't have an ohm meter, you can find out by trial and error. It will either work or not.
If you are uncomfortable doing this, look for a brand name on the starter, try searching for a wiring diagram, or a phone number to get some answers.
