back in 1969, a local dealer had a 54'foot clutch DC CASE , he was asking 600..pop passed on it , then there was a 3020 deere diesel with all the bells and whistles about 1975...4500 was too durm much for Pop again ,,.went up in amish country in 1980 auction had a 730 jd diesel with pony motor in great running condition ,,i.stopped bidding at 4 grand,,another guy pikt up and bought it for 4600... there are probably lots of others,.. a car I did not get after the seller and I agreed on 600 bux selling price in 1972 ,,1966 RED chevy implala SS , white,interior buket seats, CONVERTIBLE top ,black dash and trim ,327 /4 barrel ,,. 2 speed powerglide ,. with spinner hubcaps all around...it ran great ,, but dad, said he did not want another vehicle cluttering up the drive to where we all had to go outside and play musical chairs to let someone out when it was very muddy ,,. and he would not have us parking in the grass ...
