Hi jimont . While the Flecther name is indeed familiar to me , I do not know these folks personally. Although I am , as you say committed to the Jersey breed , I do not show cows . And my involvement with the breed association is limited to registering cattle , and our local Jersey club. We have around a dozen all Jersey herds near me and many more mixed Jersey/Holstein herds as well. That doesn't mean Holstein x Jersey , but two breeds with in one herd. Component milk price is starting to show the black and white breeders that there is more $$$ in milking cows with higher components, like the Jersey cow has. Good to hear that this family has the next generation lined up to take over the farm. Ford/NH and Kubota tractors are very popular on Dairy farms , as they build utility tractors in the 100 hp range that dairy men need, and at a price they can afford. Regards , Bruce

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
