Estate sale here yesterday, 2 3020, 3 A's and 1 B and a Ford 2N. All rediculas high in price. The Ford did run and decent looking rear tires but otherwise looked like in came out of a parts yard, patched hole in left side of transmission, brought $850, anything more than rear tires was too much. Late B did run rough like whole tractor brought $2,800, was not a $800 tractor, one A did run others not stuck 47 pressed frame $1,800. 3020 Wide front with cab had running I think for about 10 seconds and sounded like it was going to run away when shut down If remember $4,800, Bidder was on phone, bought both 3020 and thought he got a bargin and could take then someplace and make several thousand. Both should have been headed for parts yard due to condition I saw, seems he saw a diamond in rough. Things had not been used for at least 5 years, all buildings falling in, used to be a nice dairy farm. Did get the one thing I was after and that was a 13-7 Oliver steel wheel drill that was still in good condition for $200, would have gone to $450

Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
