Just don't stress about it. All those people are just trying to get to where they're going, they're not out looking to kill you. I've driven in dozens of big cities from the east coast to west coast and in between, and find that if you can pick a low traffic time it's not too bad, and if it's rush hour, just try to go with the flow. It helps a lot if you know your route ahead of time and have someone with you to navigate, but of course sometimes due to construction or accidents you may have to find alternate routes. If that happens and you're on your own without a navigator, you might just have to pull over and look up an alternate route. Be patient and you'll eventually get thru it.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
