Just looking for a little technical information. I bought a diesel International B414 with a bad head gasket. I've got it torn apart now waiting on parts, so I've been addressing minor stuff while waiting. I've noticed a leak around the clutch inspection plate underneath, so I unbolted it today and it looks like the seal on the shaft going into the transmission housing is what's leaking in there. Does anyone have a part number for this seal? I'm guessing there isn't supposed to be any fluid in that area of the tractor? There was a gasket on that inspection plate too that I cannot find a part number for. It's a large thick black gasket that completely covers the inspection hole. One more question, to change that seal, would I have to end up splitting the tractor?
