The tread below reminds me of an experience I had several years ago. I was hauling a load of hay home when I spotted smoke coming from a house. I pulled over the best I could to investigate and sure enough, smoke was coming from around eaves of fairly new house. I banged on door and windows, shouted FIRE, but no response. I did not have a cell phone, so I went to nearby house to get them to call fire dept. There were numerous cars in driveway and lights on inside, but no response. I then went across street where man & son were splitting firewood. They had unobstructed view of smoke billowing from their neighbor's house. I asked if they would please call fire dept. They said "Oh yeh, I wondered what all that smoke was about!" Meantime there were numerous cars passing by, obviously concerned that I could not pull entirely off road with my truck and trailer loaded with hay. I will wonder till my last day why I was the only person concerned that a house was on fire!! I guess this had a happy ending because the fire was confined to the laundry room where a clothes dryer had caught fire (actually the fire dept. did more damage than the fire did. LOL!).

I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
