I have one just like that. Mine has the V-twin Kohler engine with the hydraulic dump bed and the 540 p.t.o. It came from a golf course in another county. I was working at the local golf course and the super wanted to buy the top dresser that was being sold with it, but did not want to buy the Truckster. I told the super.to buy it all and I would buy the Cushman from them. I paid $500.00 for it running, but it had no brakes thus the bent in front bumper. The rear hubs clanked each time you started off. The hubs were both cracked thru the keyway. but the axle and the keyway was not damaged. I replaced the master cylinder, brake shoes and wheel cylinders before I go any brakes. It sure is handy to use for hauling small loads. It will hold 1&1/2 buckets of dirt from my small loader/ backhoe and I can go dump it where I want it and not have to shovel it off. My late wife thought it was the cat's meow for hauling stuff around the yard. Gene Davis

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
