After cleaning the hen house, we went in for lunch, came back out fired up my tractor did a few things come back and the tractor was not running? Never had that problem ever with this tractor. I take off fuel filter it's full of water? I have no idea how, maybe condinsation. I had 2 fuel filters on hand, so I change it, drain some fuel out to rid the water. I crack the lines to try bleeding it, battery gets low so I put starter on it, crank some more and starter stops engaging. I pull the starter take it apart and see the plastic gear is stripped, the outter gear around the 3 metal gears, plastic? In a starter gear? This starter is only 3 years old, what a piece of junk, Monday we will go to the tractor junk yard and get a used starter. Luck the tractor was close to power from the lawn shed, here's some pics of tonight's sun going down. The last shot is from my basement window.
