OK,I asked this on the IH board, thought I'd ask here, too. So I'm wondering just what my Farmall 806 will lift. Here's the details: mine is a fast hitch tractor, I have the 3 point adapter arms. I rebuilt alot of stuff last year, and the Hydraulics now have the 2500 psi relief valve, 15gpm pump, and I wound up with a 1086 lift cylinder because my original was scored too bad. I think 1086's had a higher setting on the lift cylinder relief valve than the 806 originally had? So on to the next part of my question. My FIL and I are looking at machinery together, and one of the potential buys is a 15' JD 750 2pt. hitch drill. Now, I remember pulling one of these drills with a JD 4430 for my best friend's grandpa and it was no problem, but a 20' 1560 maxes out a 4430. I want to know if the 806 will handle a 15'. I know you have to buy a kit to make the drill work on an open center tractor, hopefully it is still available? I'm sure I could pull a dolly wheel drill no problem, but I don't like the Idea of a dolly drill for lots of reasons unless I HAVE to get one due to tractor capacity. Thoughts? Experiences? Thanks! -Andy

It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'. My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
