I guess from seeing Casey's post,it must be delivery day. The Agco dealer brought my 2-105 today too. Not too awful shabby for a 1979. Power adjust wheels, near new tires, the AC works,4437 hours. The dealer said it was a local tractor, did mostly PTO work all it's life. From the look of the drawbar,I'm inclined to believe it.
I need to see if I can fabricate an arm for the right side of the seat. There's a big chunk broken out of the grill. They said they'd looked high and low for one. I've checked every place I can think of and even some places I hadn't even known about and can't find one. Nobody's reproducing them. The parts yards sell them just as fast as they come in. I've had the idea of taking something solid for a backbone, like a piece of nylon skid shoe or even oak molding, then build it up with fiberglass cloth, then shape it.
I parked the 2-135 next to it for some perspective as to just how much of a physical difference there is in the size of those two. I think it's gonna make a whole bunch better planting and haying tractor. I can leave those power adjust wheels set in for planting, then spin them out for haying.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
