I bought a propane tank, 250 gal, at an auction in our little town of 150 people last summer. The tank was not on the auction site, but a couple blocks away under the water tower. I went to pick it up a couple days later, it was gone. I asked around, and one fellow said he saw a neighbor with a tank on his trailer the day before. Went and talked to neighbor and asked if he knew anything about it. He said no, but would do some checking. The next morning going home from breakfast I saw my tank sitting in front of his shed. Since I had the f-250, I pulled in and loaded it in my truck with his bobcat. A year later and he will not speak to me and avoids me whenever we are at a gathering of any kind. And he is the mayor of our little burg.
Another story, well to do bto traded pickups a couple years ago. Dealership called him a few days later, and asked if he had forgotten something in the trade-in, he said he didn't think so, they told him they found a paper bag behind the seat with ten thousand bucks in it. That's when he remembered he had won that in a poker game a while back.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
