: Uncle Fuzzy Unc, Ford started the 5600 line with the LA1 in 1975-76 with a 233cid diesel with 60.4 PTO HP tied to a 8/2 tranny, mid-76 they beefed up to a LA2 that had a 256cid diesel and 62 PTO HP. They also doubled the # of gears to 16/4 and added ROPS or a cab which led to an 80-140% increase in MSRP. The LA2 was made through 1981. Dennis H.
