A fellow that lives about 10 miles from me saw his son off to school this morning and about 5 minutes later heard a 4 wheeler start up. He ran to the front door to see one of his 4 wheelers tearing around the end of the house. He grabbed another one and gave chase for several miles and found where the guy ditched the 4 wheeler and went into some CRP full of switch grass. He called the police and about 4 County and several state patrol showed up. I would assume that they picked him up since the fire department is out there this afternoon doing a controlled burn on it and there is a lot of smoke in the air. We've had several inches of rain the last few days so tracking the 4 wheeler on gravel roads was really simple, and finding tracks on the roads if anyone tried to cross on foot would also be very simple. This last winter there were some thefts where they cut open tin buildings and such to steal 4 wheelers and such so I hope they caugh this guy.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”.
